With more than 3 years of extensive research consultation experience in both agile and matrix project management settings, Aeda brings fresh perspectives to Exilex within the field of equity-based services in both legal and immigration policy building contexts. As a recent MSc. Outstanding Achievement Award and Letter Award recipient from McMaster University and University of Toronto respectively, Aeda's leadership skills have contributed to increased stakeholder engagement and knowledge exchange/translation within a broad spectrum of government stakeholders, academics, youth, think-tanks, community organizations, legal entities, and healthcare service providers across Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and South Asia.
As part of her MSc. in Global Health at McMaster University, she is currently contributing as a Communications Co-Lead Editor for the Global Health Annual Review Journal in addition to pursuing a thesis in international health law and refugee health in Canada, in order to bridge the knowledge translation gap between law and health equity for marginalized groups.
